This webinar will look at the technique and uses of Transcutaneous CO2 Monitoring in both ventilation and sleep.

About the speaker

Dr Milind Sovani is Honorary Assistant Professor and Consultant Respiratory Physician at Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham University Hospital.

He completed his Batchelor of Medicine, Batchelor of Surgery degree (MBBS) at the Nagpur University, India and went onto gain his postgraduate Medical Diploma in the UK (MRCP(UK) in 2000. This was followed by a Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Nottingham in 2007 and a European Diploma in Intensive Care (EDIC) in 2009.

He is passionate about learning and teaching, and works with colleagues at the University of Nottingham to help develop a Centre of Excellence for non-invasive monitoring and ventilation, and sleep services.

His current research work includes neuro-respiratory failure, non-invasive ventilation (NIV), sleep medicine including sleep apnoea, and obesity and COPD.

Dr. Sovani is an active contributor of articles and case studies in all areas of transcutaneous CO2 monitoring during NIV and sleep, many of which have been referenced in clinical papers.
