Radiometer releases new compact blood gas analyzer

Radiometer announces today the release of the ABL9 – the new compact blood gas analyzer specially developed for critical care environments that only run a few blood gas tests per day.

The new ABL9 blood gas analyzer uses the same cutting-edge technology as Radiometer’s renowned blood gas analyzers in the ABL compact series.

It is developed with ease of use in mind, fits in any setting due to its small footprint and comes with a flexible cost profile adapted to the hospital’s testing needs.

In November 2016, the new ABL9 blood gas analyzer was introduced to hospital settings, both point of care, lab and specialized wards, as well as primary care settings, such as pneumologists, in Japan, France, Turkey and Germany.

As of today, it is globally available in several markets.
