Christian Borjesson has been appointed President and CEO of Radiometer, succeeding Francis Van Parys.

NEWS // After more than two years at the helm of Radiometer, current President and CEO of Radiometer, Francis Van Parys, will begin a new chapter at Oxford Nanopore Technologies. Christian Borjesson, current President of Beckman Coulter Microbiology, will succeed Francis as the new President and CEO of Radiometer.

December 8, 2025

Francis has been with Radiometer for more than two years, and joined Radiometer from a fellow Danaher Operating Company, Cytiva. Francis’ leadership, sharp focus on our customers and the patients we serve, and genuine care for the Radiometer team has made a lasting impression and he will be missed.

As Francis prepares for his next step, we’re delighted to announce that Christian Borjesson, current President of Beckman Coulter Microbiology, will be stepping into the role of President and CEO of Radiometer.

Christian brings a wealth of experience from leadership roles at bioMerieux, BD, Cepheid, and Beckman Coulter Microbiology, as well as a global perspective shaped by living and working in the U.S., Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands, France, and Canada. He holds an M.Sc. in Economics from the Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration in Helsinki, Finland.

We look forward to welcoming Christian to Radiometer and wish Francis all the best on the next step in his career.
