Elzbieta"Not many places can offer employees the chance to change jobs in such a big way without changing companies altogether,” says Elzbieta. “I’m glad I had the opportunity to ‘start again’, but in an environment I already knew.”

After 14 years working as a warehouse employee, Elzbieta was retrained and began working with the production of reagents in February 2004.

Radiometer Medical’s production units are organized in co-managing groups. According to Elzbieta, being able to plan her workday together with her colleagues is empowering. “Having influence on your workday is really motivating, no matter what you work with,” she explains.

Elzbieta’s work routine has changed a lot with her new job. However, one thing has remained the same. "There has always been a positive atmosphere at work, now also with the new colleagues. When I started at my new job, I was nervous. I kept thinking: Will I fit in? But my new colleagues were welcoming from the start, and many have become my friends. The social aspect means a lot in a workplace. It is one of the things that makes it fun to come to work."
