Ensuring accuracy and precision of patient sample results
To get a true picture of whether an analyzer measures correctly, both accuracy and precision must be evaluated on repeated measurements. Radiometer analyzers provide an instant overview of the analyzer accuracy and precision using QC evaluation tools such as Levey-Jennings plots.

Accuracy = how close the measured mean of a series of quality control measurements is to the true value
Precision = the variability of repeated quality control measurements
