Radiometer will be presenting its new AQURE point-of-care (POC) management system at booth no 615 at this year’s IBMS Biomedical Science Congress, held in Birmingham, United Kingdom, September 26th to 28th. 2011

The AQURE system offers hospitals a customizable, highly flexible and scalable software solution with the capability to monitor and control the performance of their POC testing platform. The easy-to-use system encompasses a device center with online analyzer, parameter and QC status instantly available. The AQURE system supports Radiometer blood gas and immunoassay analyzers, enabling their remote access and control, and its open architecture also allows monitoring and control of non-Radiometer point-of-care testing devices.

The AQURE system is built on Microsoft® technology, making it easy to integrate into existing hospital IT infrastructures and enabling automatic capture and storage of data and transfer of patient results to the HIS/LIS. The user-friendly system features an elegant, customizable dashboard that provides a clear overview of the POC testing environment, simplifying procedures and supporting straightforward data interpretation to offer significant time savings.

Inspection-ready at a moment's notice

Results and events from all connected devices are evaluated based on a rules engine – which looks for critical errors, issuing automatic notifications in the event of a problem – eliminating the need to browse for status information. With interactive overview reports and an audit trail to provide traceability, systems are always inspection-ready. Regulatory compliance is further enhanced by allowing for remote management of operators and their ongoing competency-based training assessment.
