New CO-oximetry module on the ABL80 FLEX blood gas analyzer

Radiometer has added a CO-oximetry module to the ABL80 FLEX, a portable blood gas analyzer that brings speed and simplicity to the point-of-care.

Radiometer has added a CO-oximetry module to the ABL80 FLEX, a portable blood gas analyzer that brings speed and simplicity to the point-of-care.

Benchtop performance in a small package
Matching the CO-oximetry performance of Radiometer’s benchtop analyzers, the new module on the ABL80 FLEX CO-OX represents Radiometer’s commitment to providing quality solutions for both laboratory and point-of-care testing. The ABL80 FLEX CO-OX also accurately measures blood gases, pH, electrolytes, and glucose.

Advanced CO-oximetry
Radiometer’s sophisticated CO-oximetry technology is based on an ultrasonic hemolyzation process and spectrometer measurements across a broad spectrum. High measurement performance, zero risk of interference from chemical hemolyzing agents or partially hemolyzed red blood cells, and low maintenance makes this reliable technology superior to chemical hemolyzation.

The ABL80 FLEX CO-OX provides:

- Lab quality co-oximetry
- Only 140 seconds between results
- Cartridge-based testing
- Minimal maintenance
- Fast start-up of new consumables
- Fully operational on battery power
- Portability
- Automatic QC
- Small sample size: 105 μL
- Self-cleaning inlet with safety syringe guide
- Full connectivity
