Apprentice
Given Radiometer's size and global activities, you will be given many different assignments as an apprentice, providing you with depth and breadth in your education.
As an apprentice, you can choose between four different areas of specialization:
- Electronics
- Automation
- Precision mechanics
- Manufacturing
Prerequisites
To become an apprentice in any of the four areas above, you must have completed the basic course of training at the TEC (Danish technical college). In addition, you must be fluent in written and oral Danish.
The training process
Apprenticeships in all four areas last approximately four years. During this period, you will rotate between the departments which are relevant to your area of specialization. Typically, you will be expected to attend school five times during your training, which means you will be at school for approximately 50 weeks during the four years of your apprenticeship.
