Trainee / Apprentice

Trainee/Apprentice

As a trainee or apprentice at Radiometer, you will be a part of an international and dynamic company, whose instruments help doctors around the world provide accurate diagnoses for critically ill patients.

Globally, we are more than 1,900 colleagues, working with research & development, production, quality, sales and marketing. The majority of our employees (approximately 1,000) work at our head office in Brønshøj, Denmark. Here we provide 6 trainee and 8-10 apprentice positions.

Strong bonds

Our trainees and apprentices typically form strong bonds. They meet every day and eat lunch together, make presentations to each other about their projects and sometimes meet in their spare time for social activities.

The apprentices are part of the trade union Metal Ungdom and have their own club, where meetings are held once a month. The club goes on an annual trip; once every three years, the trip is abroad.

Salary and employee benefits

Trainees receive a very competitive salary. Apprentices receive - in addition to the salary that is fixed by the terms of the industry-wide agreement - a performance-related bonus.

As a trainee and apprentice, you are eligible to many of Radiometer's employee benefits, including our buffet, serving a variety of hot and cold meals every day, and membership of our sports association.

Adult trainees/apprentices

It is possible to become an adult trainee/apprentice at Radiometer. We employ the best-qualified people, regardless of age, on the same conditions.

Timing your application

The next time we will be taking on trainees is May 2008.

Apprentices typically begin their training program in February/March and August/September.
