New QA Portal simplifies regulatory compliance
Radiometer just announced the launch of a new web-based service: The QA Portal. The new service simplifies regulatory compliance in hospitals by collecting, processing, reporting and archiving QA data from blood gas analyzers placed throughout the hospital.
 
The QA Portal integrates Radiometer‘s current QC peer group comparison program, WDC, and additionally offers a range of QA related programs such as Method Comparison and Calibration Verification.
 

Regulatory data in one place

With the QA Portal, data is archived online and in a single location. Information is carefully organized into folders, which follows a structure similar to that of an e-mail box and is just as easy to use.
 

Ready access to information

Since it is web-based, users can easily and readily get access to information on the QA Portal wherever they are. Ready available information saves time and simplifies regulatory compliance i.e. during an inspection or when preparing for one.
 

Reduced workload

On the QA Portal, reports can be reviewed and signed with a personalized electronic signature and forwarded to colleagues. When new reports are available users automatically receive an email alert, allowing for greater flexibility and less workload.
